In the heart of the Whispering Woods lived a clever little squirrel named Nina. She was famous for collecting the most delicious golden acorns before winter. Every fall, she'd fill her tree hollow with shiny acorns and share them with other animals.
But this year, something strange happened.
One morning, Nina woke up and gasped. âMy acorns! Theyâre gone!â she cried. She searched behind rocks, under leaves, and even inside her favourite hiding spots. Nothing.
She asked her friends, âHave you seen my acorns?âOllie the Owl blinked. âNope.âMilo the Mole shook his head. âNot here.â
Determined to solve the mystery, Nina followed tiny footprints in the soil. They led her to a little burrow she had never seen before. Inside, she found a family of hedgehogs shivering.
âOh no,â said the mama hedgehog. âWe didnât know the acorns were yours. Our home was ruined by the storm, and we had nothing to eat.â
Ninaâs eyes softened. She realized the acorns helped someone in need.
âItâs okay,â she said kindly. âNext time, just ask. We can all share.â
From that day on, Nina created the Forest Food Bank, where all animals helped each other during tough times.
Moral:Â Sharing brings joy, and kindness solves problems.
