🐧 Percy the Penguin’s Big Swim

Percy was the smallest penguin in his colony in the icy land of Snowdrop Bay. While the older penguins swam far into the ocean, Percy stayed close to shore. He loved the idea of adventure but was afraid of the deep sea.

One day, a great fish feast was announced! “Whoever finds the Silver Fish wins the crown of courage,” declared Captain Puff, the wisest penguin.

The next morning, all the big penguins dove into the waves, but Percy hesitated. “What if I get lost?” he thought. Still, something inside him whispered, “Try.”

He waddled to the edge, took a deep breath, and SPLASH! In he went. At first, he flapped and flopped, but soon he found a gentle rhythm.

Suddenly, something shiny swam by—a fish with silver scales that sparkled like stars. Percy followed it through swirls of seaweed and schools of jellyfish. Finally, he caught up and gently nudged it with his beak.

When he returned, the crowd cheered. Captain Puff placed a crown made of seaweed and shells on Percy’s head.

“You didn’t just find the Silver Fish,” said Captain Puff. “You found your courage.”

Moral: Bravery means trying, even when you're scared.
